How It Works?
Temoside (temozolomide) capsules are oral alkylating chemotherapy drugs that are used mainly for brain tumours such as glioblastoma. After absorption, this medication crosses the blood brain barrier (a protective layer that normally prevents many substances in the blood from entering the brain). Simultaneously it converts into reactive compounds that add small chemical groups to DNA. This damages the instructions that cancer cells need to function and multiply. When the cells try to copy their damaged DNA, they may stop dividing or die. This helps slow down or control tumor growth.
