How It Works

Prymaqin Tablet contains Primaquine Phosphate, which belongs to a class of medicines called antiprotozoals. This antimalarial medicine helps eliminate malaria parasites and prevent the infection from returning. It targets the hepatic forms of malaria parasites that remain dormant in the liver. It interferes with the parasites’ energy production and essential metabolic processes, and prevents these parasites from becoming active and re-entering the bloodstream. As a result, these actions clear the malaria parasites from the body and prevent them from returning.
