Brand Biltree
Country of origin India
Form Oral Tablet

Biltree 600mg Tablet is an anti-helminthic medicine containing the active ingredient Praziquantel. It is used to treat worm infections and Schistosoma infection by stopping or killing the worms causing the infection. Use this medicine as prescribed dose and duration by your doctor.

Clinical Uses

Uses of Biltree 600mg Tablet include:

  • Worm infections: Helps treat many parasitic worm infections.
  • Schistosoma infection or Schistosomiasis: Also known as snail fever or bilharzia, a disease caused by parasitic flatworms called schistosomes.

How It Works

Biltree 600 mg Tablet works by increasing the permeability of the parasite’s cell membrane to calcium ions. This causes severe muscle spasms and paralysis of the worms’ muscles. At the same time, Biltree 600mg Tablet breaks down and damages the worms’ tough outer skin. With this damaged outer skin and muscles paralyzed, the worm is easily recognized and cleared by the body’s immune system.
