MesterCare 40mg Tablet contains Methyltestosterone as its active ingredient. It is an oral synthetic androgenic-anabolic steroid used primarily to treat conditions like male hypogonadism (low testosterone), delayed puberty in boys, or specific types of breast cancer.
Clinical Uses
MesterCare 40mg Tablet is used for the following conditions:
- Low testosterone levels in males causing conditions such as hypogonadism
- Delayed puberty in boys
- Certain types of breast cancer in females
How It Works
Methyltestosterone in MesterCare 40 mg Tablet is a man-made form of the male sex hormone, testosterone. It replaces or increases testosterone levels in the body when they are lower than normal. After entering the bloodstream, it works by binding to androgen receptors in different body tissues, such as muscles, bones, and reproductive organs. This activates specific genes responsible for male sexual development and reproductive functions.
It counteracts the effects of estrogen, which can stimulate the growth of some breast cancer cells. This may help slow down or reduce cancer cell growth.
