Clinical Uses

Nebitum Nebivolol Tablet is primarily used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). It helps lower blood pressure and reduce complications such as heart attacks, strokes, and kidney problems.

Nebitum Nebivolol tablets may also be used along with other primary treatment plans to manage chronic heart failure. However, it depends on the patient’s condition and the doctor’s recommendation.

Dosage Strengths

Nebitum Nebivolol tablets are available in dosage strengths of 2.5mg and 5mg. Consult your healthcare provider to determine the appropriate dosage based on your condition and individual treatment needs.

How It Works

Nebivolol works by blocking the beta-1 adrenergic receptors in the heart. This results in lowering the heart rate and cardiac output. Thus the medicine reduces the overall workload on the heart which manages hypertension and heart failure.

Nebivolol also has a secondary mechanism which involves the enhancement of Nitric oxide release. This relaxes and widens blood vessels further lowering blood pressure and vascular resistance.
